Around the edges of the flower and shamrocks are stamped star shaped rosettes in the fashion of Charles Horner 's work. These repousse star rosettes are also known as ' pastry icing '. There is no mark but tests sterling silver. Estimated to be late 1800's to turn of the 20th century. The pin is secured by with a c-clasp and tube hinge.
