Description
This is a hand painted scenic sunset landscape porcelain brooch of a lake side reflection of the sunset. The painting is mounted in a 10k gold filigree frame that has a gold filled bezel but the filigree wire work all tests solid 10k gold. The painting looks very much in the style of Thomas L Mott's miniatures but this is unsigned / unmarked. It is more than likely a souvenir from a popular tourist area. Secured with a rollover safety clasp. The pin stem tests 10k white gold but is more than likely gold filled.
Measurements: 2" in length by 1 5/8" at the widest point.
Condition: Good condition with minor scratches to the painting under magnification. The bezel frame has wear to the gold fill around the edges.
